Zagdu Singh Charitable Trust (ZCT), Mumbai established under the visionary leadership of Hon. Chairman V.K. Singh is committed for the advancement of education with the belief that education must evolve with the changing needs & aspirations of society, industry, nation and global community.

With the legacy spanning over three decades, the Trust has built a wide educational ecosystem ranging from school education to research across diverse disciplines, supported by state of the art infrastructure, quality driven systems and experienced faculty to create industry ready professionals and responsible citizens with enterprising skills.

At present the Trust runs 10 institutions serving over 15000 students with 1500+ employees. The Trust has been working towards the upliftment of the local community through its educational initiatives. ZCT provides merit-cum-means scholarships to promote equitable access to quality education.

In recognition of academic excellence, innovation and institutional growth, under the aegis of ZCT, Thakur College of Engineering & Technology, Mumbai has been conferred with the prestigious “Deemed-to-be-University" status under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956, by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, on 6th March 2026. All other eligible institutions managed by ZCT are conferred with autonomous status & accredited by NAAC. All eligible programmes under the various institutions are also accredited by NBA.
